There was only a very short period between 2.6.17.12 and 2.6.17.13. Thus I'm announcing these versions together.
2.6.17.12 contains many patches which solve various bugs (see Changelog).
2.6.17.13 fixes two build errors with the previous release. If you have updated to 2.6.17.12 and this version works well no update is needed. But everybody using kernels older than 2.6.17.12 is recommended to update to 2.6.17.13.
